The Marion Police Department is gearing up and putting the final touches on our biggest community event of the year, our annual National Night Out. This event is always free to the community and many partners help us make that happen! This year’s event will be held on August 1st on Main Street from 7-9p.m. with setup beginning at 6:00p.m.
Our hope is that everyone will join us on Tuesday August 1st on Main Street for a great time of community engagement. The Marion Police Departments goal is to continue to bridge the gap between the police and our community. Our partners in local business, emergency services, health care, community organizations, and many others will join together on Tuesday to make this event happen. There will be hotdogs, snow cones, cotton candy, inflatables, face painting, live music (Gotcha Groove), a law enforcement car show, and much more.
Again, the event is 100% free, including the food which our corporate partners of Ingles, Walmart and Pepsi make happen.
