Subject: Media Alert: Street Closures for the Upcoming Street Resurfacing Project
 
 
To the City of East Chicago,
 
We have completed all concrete work for the City paving project. We will now start the milling and paving operation. If you receive this letter then you may be in an area where construction will cause traveling conflicts. Starting on Wednesday July 26^th , we will start with milling and paving. This operation will last approximately 2 weeks, weather depending. Please be aware of the “No Parking Signs” that will be posted on your streets, please seek parking accommodation so we can complete our operation quickly. The signs will be picked up when it is okay to park along the roads again. Listed below are the streets that will be part of this project. Streets will be done in this order. 3.      Canal St (Dead End to Michigan)

5.      W 145^th St (City Limits to Homerlee)
6.      White Oak Ave (149^th to 148^th)
7.      Marginal St (S Roxanna Dr.) (Wegg to Shell)
