* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in southern Connecticut, Fairfield. In northeast New Jersey, Bergen. In southeast New York, Rockland and Westchester.

* WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 312 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Yonkers, White Plains, New City, Ossining, Ridgewood, Monsey, Nanuet, Ramsey, Haverstraw, Tarrytown, Dobbs Ferry, Suffern, Nyack, Tappan, Greenwich, Harrison, Scarsdale, Pearl River, Oradell and Bronxville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
