* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 943 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Westervelt, or near Shelbyville, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near... Findlay around 955 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Windsor, Sullivan, Allenville and Cooks Mill. This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 181 and 185.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COLES, IL ... DOUGLAS, IL ... MOULTRIE, IL ... SHELBY, IL

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. If on or near lake Shelbyville, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm.
