* At 1011 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Arcola, or 7 miles south of Tuscola, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Camargo, Hindsboro, Oakland and Newman. This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 193 and 211.
* AFFECTED AREAS: COLES, IL ... DOUGLAS, IL
Instructions:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
