INCIDENT: Homicide Investigation
LOCATION: 25500 block of Redlands Boulevard, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Andres Torres, 32-year-old resident of Loma Linda
VICTIM(S): Joice Taroreh, 45-year-old resident of Loma Linda
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at approximately 10:02 a.m., deputies responded to a home in the 25500 block of Redlands Blvd for a reported stabbing. Upon arriving, deputies located the victim, Joice Taroreh, inside the home suffering from stab wounds. Taroreh was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded and assumed the investigation. It was discovered Taroreh had been stabbed by her boyfriend, Andres Torres. Torres was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for murder.
