NEXT TUESDAY August 1st NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

NEXT TUESDAY – LARGEST NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
IN CENTRAL NEW JERSEY

The South Brunswick Police Department invites everyone to our National Night Out 2023 celebration!

This year is planned to be bigger and better than before. Our Diamond sponsor -Hermann Total  Distribution Service, along with our Platinum sponsors Aurobindo, Coca-Cola, Wakefern, and Dayton Toyota, have provided additional funding for more free rides, food, and prizes. In order to top last year community members will enjoy over 2,200 hot dogs, 1,500 bottles of water, 1,000 ice pops and 2,000 bags of popcorn and chips. Lieutenant Gene Rickle who organizes the annual event said, “It is a big event that takes months of planning. We are lucky to have so much support from our business community.”

The celebration will take place at beautiful Rowland Park located on Broadway Road on Tuesday August 1st from 6pm to 9pm. “I would tell people to come early as the park fills up quickly with thousands of people expected to attend,” said Lieutenant Rickle. The annual National Night Out celebrates the community-police partnership.

Chief Raymond Hayducka said, “This is annually one of the biggest events in the Township and requires so much planning. We have a lot of volunteers and great support from businesses who make it all possible. I have to thank Hermann Total Distribution Services with helping us expand our celebration this year. It is a great night that I hope everyone can come out to.”

Something unique this year is free CPR training offered by the South Brunswick Health Department. The training called CPR Anytime. Learn. Practice, Share. Demonstration at National Night Out – Community Unity Day on August 1, 2023 at Rowland Park.  Knowing the basics of CPR can help save lives.  The more residents that know CPR can have a great impact upon their family, neighbors, and community by immediately starting CPR until first responders arrive.  Each session will be 30minutes in duration and will start at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm.  Class size is limited to 10 people, age 13 years and older.  Registration is required.  Interested residents should contact the South Brunswick Health Department at 732-329-4000 extension 7237 to sign up for a session and further details about the program.  Please consider being part of your community’s effort to save lives.  You Can Make A Difference!
