* WHERE...Knox, Stark, Peoria, Marshall, Woodford, Tazewell and McLean Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to 8 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. The impacts of heat are cumulative, and are amplified with extended exposure.

* AFFECTED AREAS: KNOX ... STARK ... PEORIA ... MARSHALL ... WOODFORD ... TAZEWELL ... MCLEAN

Instructions:

Respect the heat. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air- conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
