Heat Advisory and Severe Weather Expected Today! 
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Ocean Gate from 11 am today until 6 am Friday. The Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 104 are expected. In addition, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and continue into this evening. Some storms may be severe with damaging winds and localized flash flooding. Please have multiple ways to receive warnings.
