Do you think your property has the prettiest flowers? The most upkept landscaping? The most unique features? We want to hear from you for the Village’s Property Recognition Program!
The Village’s Beautification Committee is currently accepting nominations for their Summer Property Recognition Program, Green Thumb, that will judge the front yard landscaping of submitted properties based on overall maintenance, overall creativity, and overall appearance impact and aesthetic. If you are interested in submitting your property for judging please fill out the form at the Village website here. (www.northaurora.org)
The Beautification Committee will judge each property and will award the top four placing properties Woodmans gift cards in the respective amounts: $100, $75, $50 and $25!
The deadline for Green Thumb is Monday, July 31, 2023. Participating properties will be recognized publicly at the August 21, 2023 Village Board meeting and on the Village website and Facebook!
Overall Rules:
Property must be located within the Village of North Aurora
You may nominate your own or someone else’s property you feel deserves recognition
ONLY ONE NOMINATION per address please. The Beautification Committee will be judging properties based on criteria; not number of submissions
