Military funeral escort to temporarily stop traffic on US Rt. 6 between Center St. and Bluff Rd. at approx. 11:30AM. 
Channahon Police will be assisting the Patriot Guard with a military funeral escort to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetary at approximately 11:30AM.
The procession will leave from Resurrection Luthern Church traveling to I-55 via Bluff Rd. To maintain the integrity of the procession, Channahon officer will temporarily STOP both traffic on both direction on US Rt. 6, between Center St. and Bluff Rd. as the procession leaves the church.
This stoppage will last approximately 5-10 minutes.
