Calaveras County School Resource Officer Welcomes Students Back to School
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Conor Seawell welcomes students back to school. In the coming school year, Deputy Seawell will work closely with schools throughout Calaveras County to enhance student and school safety. He will prioritize fostering positive relationships with students while promoting a supportive and safe school environment. As a former School Resource Officer, Sheriff DiBasilio is committed to expanding the SRO program as soon as staffing levels allow.
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office consistently seeks ways to interact with the community and offer programs to improve safety and security, and the SRO's role in law enforcement helps fulfill this goal by addressing security concerns, conducting informal mentoring and counseling, and teaching children in-person. With community involvement, these programs become achievable and effective.
