The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Fayette County in east central Indiana... Union County in east central Indiana... Southern Wayne County in east central Indiana... Northern Franklin County in southeastern Indiana... Southwestern Preble County in west central Ohio...

* Until 730 AM EDT.

* At 429 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Richmond, Connersville, Centerville, Cambridge City, Liberty, Hagerstown, Dublin, West College Corner, Salem, Waterloo, Blooming Grove, Columbia, Bunker Hill, Abington, Brownsville, Laurel, Milton, Greens Fork, East Germantown and College Corner.
