A 23-year-old Green Bay man suspected of shooting and killing a 24-year-old Green Bay man due to an alleged argument stemming from an ongoing dispute, has been charged.
The Brown County District Attorney’s Office charged Michael Putala, 23, Green Bay on July 28, 2023:
- First-Degree Reckless Homicide
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
- First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
- First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
Putala was arrested on Saturday, July 15, 2023, after he voluntarily turned himself in at the Green Bay Police Department to discuss the incident from Friday, July 14, 2023, in the 1100 block of Cass Street.
