...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EDT/MIDNIGHT CDT/ SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northern Indiana, including
the following counties, in north central Indiana, Kosciusko. In
northern Indiana, Fulton IN, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski and Starke.
* WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT /1 AM EDT/midnight CDT/ Saturday/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 946 PM EDT /846 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Rochester, Knox, Argos, Culver, Akron, Mentone, Mexico,
Walnut, Tippecanoe, Oak Grove, Kewanna, Erie, Denver, Fulton,
Monterey, Macy, Burket, Tiosa, Leiters Ford and Lake Manitou.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
