The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is hosting our Second Annual "OPD COMMUNITY Tour and Backpack Giveaway" this Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at OPD Headquarters, located at 455 7th Street in Oakland.
Besides backpacks, officers will provide free food, beverages, and plenty of family activities, including jumpers, face painting, and nail polishing stations.
Also, Oakland barbers are donating their time and services by providing free haircuts for children, just in time for back to school.
