Maria Vlasceanu, 35 year-old female from Romania
Simona Balan, 32 year-old female from Romania

Aurica Leondraliu, 45 year-old male from Romania
Antonio Mandragio, 23 year-old male from Romania

SUMMARY: On July 27, 2023, detectives and deputies from the Chino Hills Police/Sheriff's Station conducted a follow up investigation for a felony theft by fraud case, which occurred in the city of Chino Hills. Detectives and deputies conducted surveillance and identified a male subject believed to be the suspect in the crime. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and detained the male. A search warrant was authored and served at the residence in the 1800 block of Fern Avenue in Ontario. Detectives recovered a large amount of U.S. currency, falsified foreign government documents, and fraudulent U.S. state identification cards.
Through the investigation, detectives discovered the subjects were members of a Romanian theft organization.
32-year-old Catalin Vasile, 41-year-old Simona Radu, 35-year-old Maria Vlasceanu, 32-year-old Simona Balan, 40-year-old George Paun, 45-year-old Aurica Leondraliu, and 23-year-old Antonio Madragio were arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for PC 470 Forgery and PC 182 Conspiracy.
