Southeastern Haywood County in western North Carolina... Northern Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina... Northeastern Pickens County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 642 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Hendersonville to 8 miles northwest of Brevard, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
