Full Notification

Officers responded code 3 to the 300 block of Aristotle Street for a neighbor dispute where one involved party was reportedly stabbed. On arrival, officers encountered David Corralejo (41 years, a Simi  Valley resident) at the front of the location. Corralejo was bleeding from the head and stated he had been struck with a shovel. He was transported to a local area hospital with a significant but non-life-threatening head injury. 

The second involved subject was identified as Adam Mathison (22 years, a Simi Valley resident). Mathison was uncooperative with officers and refused to exit his residence. Via phone, Mathison advised he had been stabbed in the upper chest during a fight with Corralejo. After approximately 40 minutes, Mathinson surrendered without incident. He was also transported to a local area hospital with a significant but non-life-threatening injury.

At the time of this entry, both Mathison and Correlajo are in custody and being treated, with jail bookings for 245(a)(1) PC pending their medical clearances.
