Motor vehicle thefts increasing in our area. 
Recently, the Deal Police Department has observed increased motor vehicle thefts within our community and neighboring areas. The culprits have been gaining entry to homes via unlocked front and back doors, specifically searching for key fobs belonging to high-end vehicles.
We strongly advise all residents to ensure their doors are securely locked and to store purses and key fobs out of sight from windows or other areas visible from outside.
