* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central Missouri and west central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Pettis and Saline. In west central Missouri, Johnson MO and Lafayette.
* WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 329 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sedalia, Concordia, Sweet Springs, La Monte, Smithton, Green Ridge, Corder, Alma, Houstonia, Emma, Hughesville, Aullville and Sedalia Memorial Arpt. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
