Activity for July 31, 2023
- Officer Goings and Officer Kuhn conducted foot patrol at the Jackson Crossing Mall.
- Officer Tripp met with officers from Eastern Michigan Police Department for a warrant pick-up. A 32-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- JSO deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit that was terminated at East North Street and Waterloo Street. Officer Tripp located the vehicle in the 1000 block of East Ganson Street, conducted a traffic stop, and took the 29-year-old male driver into custody. The driver was turned over to deputies.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a subject near South Jackson Street and West Wesley Street. A 40-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics.
- Officer Jones was in the area of East Michigan Avenue and Horton Street when she heard shots fired to the west of her location. Casings were located on East Michigan Avenue.
- Sergeant Kruso and Officer Erwin conducted speed enforcement in the 1200 block of Seymour Avenue, and at Greenwood Avenue and First Street.
