Highland Park’s annual Parkstock outdoor summer concert series - 8/3
On Thursday August 3rd Parkstock welcomes Rugburn to the stage. Rugburn’s music is a high-energy blend of funk, rock, and jazz, characterized by adventurous improvisations and tight grooves. Beginning in the New Brunswick, NJ basement scene, they have been playing together for the past five years from New York City all the way to New Orleans. Their members include: Carter Vames (Sax, Keys, Flute), Josh Siegel (Guitar, Vocals), Ian Young (Bass), and Jem Seidel (Drums). The rain date for this show is Thursday August 24th.
This concert will be held this Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, in the gazebo in Grove 1 in Donaldson Park, with ample parking available nearby. Food vendors Bella Ciao - Brick oven pizzas, Chef Phensri - Pad Thai & Thai cuisine, and Davey B's - Shaved ice and ice cream, as well as assorted drinks and refreshments, will be available on site for purchase.
