SUSPECT(S): Json Tremayne Pitts Davis, 43-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Saturday, July 29, 2023, deputies with the Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to a report of a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles at the intersection of State Highway 18 and Rancherias Road, in the town of Apple Valley.
Deputy Gabriel Dominguez responded and found a collision with five vehicles involved and multiple people injured. An investigation was conducted which resulted in Json Tremayne Pitts Davis being arrested for driving under the influence causing bodily injury. Davis was arrested and transported to High Desert Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
The occupants of the other four vehicles suffered minor to moderate injuries. Four of the victims were transported to local hospitals by AMR while the other two were treated at the scene.
