Tonight is Chula Vista Police Department National Night Out from 4-8 p.m. at the PD headquarters, 315 F Street. The free event includes guided tours, K-9 demonstrations, a Jaws of Life demonstration by the Chula Vista Fire Department and other opportunities for families to learn about crime prevention, police operations, and speak with officers on special teams like S.W.A.T., Mobile Field Force, and the UAS (Drone) Team. In addition to information booths, there also will be a Kid’s Zone, lowriders on display, and free food (while supplies last)!

Traffic will be impacted from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.: F Street eastbound from Fourth Ave. to Garrett Ave. will be closed as well as the PD front parking lot. Parking is available at the Civic Center Library lot at 365 F Street.
