Beginning on or about August 15, 2023, the City parking lot located on Memorial Drive between Bangs and Springwood Avenues will be permanently closed in order to prepare for construction of the new Asbury Park Fire Department headquarters. Construction is anticipated to take approximately 16 to 18 months. The southbound New Jersey Transit train platform will remain open and accessible for use during this time.
