Lt. Detective Kirk Hensley with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged 34-year-old Levi Eddie McHone and 26-year-old Tayler Nichole Wright with felonious Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Possession of Stolen Property/Goods. McHone was issued a $20,000 secured bond and Wright was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
On July 26th, Lt. Hensley was patrolling the Nebo area when he stopped a vehicle for numerous traffic violations. The driver was identified as McHone and the passenger as Wright. Upon checking the vehicle license plate, it was determined to be stolen. McHone and Wright were arrested without incident.
