Power Conservation Urged Now-

This afternoon the continued extreme heat is stressing our substations, making it hard to keep up.

We are asking both business and residential customers to please help us conserve power by pushing thermostats up, delaying doing laundry, avoid using electric stoves, avoid charging EV's, etc. We believe we will be out of the critical stage within the next 5-hours today.

We are expecting temperatures to stay to in the 100's until Saturday. We are asking residents to help us through Saturday evening by doing their part to help conserve power. This will help us reduce the extreme stress on our substations and their ability to keep up the current and expected demand.
