* Flash Flood Warning for... North Central Camden County in central Missouri... Southern Maries County in central Missouri... Southern Miller County in central Missouri... Northeastern Pulaski County in central Missouri... Phelps County in east central Missouri... Northern Dent County in south central Missouri...

* Until 545 AM CDT Thursday.

* At 1138 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. This includes the following highways... Interstate 44 between mile markers 167 and 169...and between mile markers 171 and 200. This includes the following low water crossings... Crooked Creek at Highway TT, Mill Creek at County Road 521, Montague Creek at County Road 510, Jones Creek at Highway O, Atwell Creek at Highway K, Maries River at County Road 621 and Norman Creek at County Road 4220.
