INCIDENT: PC 664/459 Attempted Residential Burglary
LOCATION: 15400 block of Kasota Road, Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): 46-year-old male of Apple valley
SUSPECT(S): Thor Wilson, 54-year-old male of Lake, Michigan
SUMMARY: Deputies Steven Jacquez and Gregory Guzman, from the Apple Valley Police Department, were dispatched a report of a possible residential burglary in progress on Saturday, July 30, 2023.
As deputies arrived at the residence, located in the 15400 block of Kasota Road, they met a subject matching the description given to dispatch by the victim. Deputy Jacquez investigated and found the suspect, Thor Wilson, had tried to enter the victim’s residence. The victim was not at home, but was able to watch the suspect through his home security system.
Thor Wilson was arrested and transported to High Desert Detention Center. Upon review of the case, the Victorville District Attorney’s office filed felony charges of attempted burglary.
