This morning, our SWAT team executed a search warrant in the 600 block of E. Eleventh St. as part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident. During the incident, a vehicle was observed firing shots at a residence, and is response, the occupants of the residence also fired back. At the location, 12 individuals were detained, and 4 firearms were recovered during the warrant service. Outstanding work by our SWAT team, Major Crimes Task Force, Special Investigations Unit, Crisis Negotiation Team, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle team.
