Flood Advisory until 04:00AM Friday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following counties, Carroll, Obion and Weakley.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 102 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. This is in additional to the 3 to 5 inches of rain that fell in these areas on Thursday. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Martin, Union City, McKenzie, Dresden, South Fulton, Gleason, Sharon, Latham, Woodland Mills, Ralston, Hyndsver, Pisgah, Sandhill, Ruthville, Gardner, McConnell, Pillowville, Crowley Store, Terrell and Shaffner. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
