Flood Advisory until 10:30AM

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following counties, Benton, Carroll, Henry, Obion and Weakley.

* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 721 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Martin, Union City, Paris, McKenzie, Paris Landing State Park, Dresden, South Fulton, Greenfield, Gleason, Troy, Kenton, Obion, Sharon, Cottage Grove, Palmersville, Latham, Routon, Springville, Clayton and Puryear. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
