Press Release: Homicide Investigation

On August 5th, 2023, at approximately 11:13 p.m., Culver City Police Officers responded to a call of a family disturbance at 5000 Block of Showboat Place.
Officers made entry into location and detained the juvenile suspect at the scene. The officers located the victim in the residence and immediately began life saving measures by administering CPR.
Culver City Fire Department arrived and continued treating the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. CCPD Detectives and Forensics were called to the scene to further investigate.
The juvenile suspect was arrested and transported to CCPD without incident.
