One Injured in Motorcycle Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury crash on 08/07/2023 at around 04:52 HRS. The crash occurred on Kessington Rd near Guyer St. in Cass County's Mason Township.
Investigation of the crash showed that Steven Methe (34 year old of Goshen, IN) was driving south on Kessington Rd. and struck a downed tree blocking the roadway. SEPSA EMS transported Steven to Elkhart General Hospital, in Indiana, for injuries sustained in the crash.
No helmet was worn during the crash, drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor..
Assisting on scene was SEPSA EMS and Porter Township Fire Department.
