INCIDENT: P.C. 245(a)(1) Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 300 block West Broadway Street, Needles CA
SUSPECT(S): John Parish 66-year-old resident of Needles
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 4:45 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff's Station responded to the 300 block of West Broadway Street for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Through investigation, deputies determined John Parish struck the victim in the head several times. The victim fell to the ground and sustained major injuries.
John Parish was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked at the West Valley Detention Center. Parish is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
