INCIDENT: Burglary / Possession of Stolen Property/ Violation of Parole
LOCATION: 11900 block of Hesperia Road, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Kevin Eredia, 35-year-old resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On August 5, 2023, at about 5:14 a.m., deputies with the Hesperia Police Department responded to the 11900 block of Hesperia Road, in the city of Hesperia, reference an alarm call that was later determined to be a burglary.
Upon arrival, deputies found the front door to the business was damaged, and showed evidence of forced entry. Deputies were later advised items totaling approximately $60,000 were taken from the business.
On August 6, 2023, further investigation was conducted by deputies and detectives which resulted in suspect leads in the town of Apple Valley. Investigators worked with deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department and were able to locate the suspect, suspect vehicle and stolen property. The suspect, later identified as Kevin Eredia, was contacted at a residence in the town of Apple Valley and was arrested.
Eredia was transported and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for PC 459- Burglary, PC496-Possesion of Known Stolen Property and PC3056-Violation of Parole.
