* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southeastern Rutherford County in western North Carolina... Western Lincoln County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... Cleveland County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... Gaston County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 459 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles west of Lincolnton to 3 miles southeast of Shelby, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Gastonia, Shelby, Forest City, Kings Mountain, Mt Holly, Belmont, Cherryville, Bessemer City, South Gastonia and Boiling Springs NC.
