INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of Firearm, Probation Violation, Possession of Concealed Firearm While Being a Participant of a Street Gang, Possession of a High Capacity Magazine and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
LOCATION: Interstate 15 / Baseline Road, Fontana
SUSPECT 1: Esteban Fausto, 32-years-old, Resident of Pomona
SUSPECT 2: Victor Sanchez, 22-years-old, Resident of Pomona SUSPECT 3: Male Juvenile, 17-years-old, Resident of Pomona

SUMMARY: On Friday, August 4, 2023, at approximately 11:53 p.m., Deputies Arroyo and Christensen from the Fontana Sheriffs Station observed a vehicle leaving a residential area, travelling at a high rate of speed and violating several vehicle code violations.
Deputies Arroyo and Christensen conducted a traffic stop at Baseline Road and Interstate 15 and contacted the three occupants who were identified as Esteban Fausto, Victor Sanchez and a male juvenile.
During the traffic stop, Sanchez was discovered to be on active felony probation for possessing narcotics while armed. There was alcohol also located next to the male juvenile passenger. The three subjects were removed from the vehicle and searched for officer safety. The male juvenile passenger was in possession of a concealed, loaded firearm.
At the conclusion of the traffic stop, all three subjects were arrested without incident and booked at West Valley Detention Center and the San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall.
