* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in south central Missouri, Howell. In southwest Missouri, Barry, Douglas, Ozark, Stone and Taney.

* WHEN...Until 245 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, with an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain possible through Noon. - This includes the following low water crossings... Little North Fork River at County Road 916, Spring Creek at County Road 349, Lick Creek at County Road 528, Little Beaver Creek at Old Cheese Plant Road, Pond Fork at County Road 883, Bear Creek at Reno Springs Road and Little North Fork at Haskins Ford Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Branson, Kimberling City, Forsyth, Hollister, Silver Dollar City, Merriam Woods, Reeds Spring, Rockaway Beach, and Gainesville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
