This is an update on the Center Street Bridge at Brook Street construction work.  Effective 9:00 am on Thursday, August 10^th , 2023 Center Street bridge will be open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  The temporary detour route, road closed and other signage will be removed.  The OPT bus stops on Church Street will be returned to their original locations at West Street, Chestnut Street and Center Street.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this very important bridge replacement work.

Also, beginning Monday, August 14^th Clinton Street between West Street and Spruce Street will be closed except for local traffic as the Clinton Street bridge replacement work will begin.  Temporary traffic control signs and barricades will be placed at adjoining streets and sidewalks. The duration of this project is expected to be similar to the duration of the Center Street bridge project of approximately 10 weeks. 

Please use extreme caution and obey traffic control measures.
Work will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on weekdays.  The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
