LARGE SEIZURE OF FIREARMS AND NARCOTICS:

On August 8th , 2023, detectives with the Forest City Police Department received information regarding the location of multiple stolen firearms. After consulting with the Rutherford County District Attorneys Office, detectives applied for a search warrant at 418 Seitz Dr. Forest City, NC. Upon arrival, two subjects were observed in the doorway, before running back into the house. The female, Priscilla Hines resisted officers and was found to be concealing evidence. Both subjects were detained on scene. The original search warrant was served, and detectives applied for a second search warrant based on the items located. During the second search, detectives located the following items:

- 2 pounds and 10 ounces of marijuana
- 16 firearms (6 rifles and 10 pistols) 9 of which were stolen from outside jurisdictions.
- 22.37 grams of yellow fentanyl pills.
- 11.74 grams of white powder (suspected fentanyl).
- 112 grams of blue fentanyl pills.
- 27 grams of marijuana found on the female suspect (HINES).
- $480.00 US Currency.
- (1) Glock handgun with a “selector switch” rendering same fully automatic.
- Assorted magazines for multiple firearms.
- Assorted rounds of ammunition.

This is currently an ongoing investigation and charges are pending for multiple subjects. Priscilla Hines was arrested on scene for resisting/hinder/delay. Forest City PD would like to thank the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and the Forest City Fire Department for their assistance.
