Fairfield Police Department has been made aware of the horrendous instance of vandalism that occurred at Thompson’s Corner Saloon earlier this week. 

We are, of course, appalled by the crime, but we are even more appalled by the racist rhetoric used in its commission. We are firmly against any and all hate speech and any sentiment and/or ideology rooted in hate. 

We stand ready to assist the Solano County Sheriff’s Office in their investigation, as this occurrence falls within their jurisdiction, but have every confidence they will find those responsible and bring them swiftly to justice.

We ask that the media direct any inquiries to the Solano County Sheriff's Office.
