After a recent speed study was conducted, the Sachse City Council voted to change the following speed limits: Sachse Road from the city limit to Miles Road will go from 45 mph to 40 mph; Sachse Road from Miles Road to Roundabout will increase from 35 mph to 40 mph; and 5^th Street from the Roundabout to State Highway 78 will go from 35 mph to 30 mph. City staff have already started changing the speed signs for these streets. If you travel this area please notice the change.
