* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following counties, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland and Wayne.
* WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1055 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches per hour have been estimated by radar. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Warren, Livonia, Troy, Southfield, St. Clair Shores, Novi, Brighton, Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit, Detroit, Sterling Heights, Dearborn, Royal Oak, Birmingham, South Lyon, Northville, Clinton, Detroit Zoo, Greenfield Village and Belle Isle. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
