Full Notification

SVPD Dispatch received a call from a Ventura resident tracking her stolen Mustang Mach E in Simi Valley via an app.  The reporting party provided a vehicle description and license plate. Officers located the Mustang a short time later near the MetroLink station, and a high-risk stop was made on Stearn Street north of Los Angeles Ave.  The driver and sole occupant was identified as Shelby Storace (28-year-old Simi Valley resident).  Storace was just released from Ventura County Jail this morning and stole the vehicle from a shopping center near the county jail facility.  Storace was charged with 10851(a) CVC - stolen vehicle, 14601.2 CVC - suspended license, and 23247(e) CVC - no ignition interlock device.
