* At 149 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Bridgewater, or near Somerville, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include... Morristown, Madison, Florham Park, East Hanover, Chatham, Far Hills, Millington, Basking Ridge, Watchung and Hanover Township. This includes the following highways... Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 31 and 43. Interstate 80 in New Jersey near mile marker 46. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 19 and 21, between mile markers 25 and 30, and between mile markers 34 and 36, and near mile marker 38.
