* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Barry, Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone and Taney.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1229 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... Little Beaver Creek at Old Cheese Plant Road, Little Crane Creek at Old Wire Road, Little North Fork at Haskins Ford Road, Little North Fork River at County Road 916, Bear Creek at Reno Springs Road, Turkey Creek at County Road 830 and Pond Fork at County Road 883. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Branson, Kimberling City, Forsyth, Hollister, Silver Dollar City, Merriam Woods, Crane, Reeds Spring, Rockaway Beach, Gainesville, Indian Point, Branson West, Galena, Taneyville, Shell Knob, Kissee Mills, Bull Creek, Mccord Bend, Kirbyville, Wasola, Powersite, Ozark Beach, Edgewater Beach, Walnut Shade, Bradleyville, Brownbranch, Long Run, Thornfield, Cape Fair, Noble, Elsey, Willhoit, Lake Taneycomo, Bull Shoals Lake, Table Rock Lake and Shepherd of the Hills State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
