Full Notification

WARNING OF TOWN MEETING The residents of the Town of Sherman are hereby warned and notified that a Town Meeting will be held in person at Charter Hall on Monday, August 14 at 7pm to act on the following matters:

1. To authorize an appropriation not-to-exceed $340,000 from the capital non-recurring fund to fund the preparation of schematic drawings, outline specifications, and associated architectural, engineering, and related services.

2. To authorize a resolution that the Sherman School Building Committee, the formation of which was approved in Town Meeting on May 26, 2022, is hereby authorized as the building committee with regard to the Sherman School Renovation Project.

3. To approve a resolution that authorizes at least the preparation of schematic drawings and outline specifications for the Sherman School Renovation Project.

4. To approve a resolution that authorizes the Sherman Board of Education to apply to the Commissioner of Administrative Services and to accept or reject a grant for the Sherman School Renovation Project.

5. To authorize retroactively an emergency expenditure of $9521.66 from the capital nonrecurring fund for an A/C unit condenser in Town Hall.

6. To authorize the discontinuance of the Town of Sherman Ordinance Regarding Septic System Management.
