On Saturday October 29th, 2022, around 7PM, Officers were dispatched to Avondale Elementary involving a shooting. When Officers arrived, they found a male juvenile who had been shot multiple times. Witnesses stated that before the shooting several were seen fighting at the park. From their investigation and witnesses’ statements, it was determined the suspect in this case was Samuel DelGrande, Male, 07/22/2005 and a warrant was obtained for the charge of Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon. Samuel was arrested and booked into the Potter County Jail for this charge. This case was a combined investigation with the Juvenile Offender Squad and the Violent Crimes Unit.
